Recipe- Wheat Flour Pizza

Wheat Flour Pizza

Yummy pizza! Who does not like the pizza, creamy cheese and crispy crust make it a mouthwatering treat. Pizza is a famous Italian cuisine recipe which is famous all over the world.Why not make pizza at home, the method is so simple and when you make it with wheat flour it is healthy too. You can use your own favorite toppings. I hope my recipe will be useful for you, give it a try.


For the Dough

  • 1 packet/0.25-ounce or 2 1/4 teaspoons of Active Dry Yeast
  • 2 tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp. Sugar
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 2 cups of Wheat flour
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cup Warm water (100-110 degree F)

To make pizza

  • Pizza Sauce click here for recipe
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Sliced tomato
  • Sliced onion
  • Sliced green capsicum
  • Mix Italian herbs (basil, rosemary, oregano)


Making the dough

  • Take the warm water in a bowl add the sugar when sugar is dissolved add yeast and give a stir, in 2-3 minutes yeast will turn creamy and bubbly
  • In another bowl take wheat flour and all-purpose flour, add salt and olive oil
  • Now pour the yeast water mixture and mix it well to form a dough
  • Dough should not be very hard and not too soft you can add more water to make it medium soft
  • Now take few drops of olive oil in your palm and knead the dough for few minutes and then cover the bowl and let the dough rise until double in volume
  • The temperature of the room where dough is kept should be around 80ºF

Making the pizza

  • Preheat your oven to 425 ºF
  • When dough is ready take it out and divide in two round shape balls
  • Now prepare your tray to make pizza, apply a little olive oil and then sprinkle some flour
  • Take your one dough ball and start to roll it out you can use a rolling pin too
  • Apply your favorite pizza sauce on top of pizza add cheese
  • Use your onion, tomato, green pepper as toppings
  • Again add more cheese on top of it and some mix Italian herbs
  • Bake your pizza in preheated oven for around 20 min until cheese is melted and crust is brown and crispy

Your yummy pizza is ready, serve with tomato sauce!
