Recipe - Bread Potato Cutlets

Bread & Potato Cutlets

Cutlets are best for tea-time snack and can be prepared in minutes and kids especially love them. Cutlets can be grilled or deep fried or you can bake them too if you want to avoid cooking in oil. This recipe of bread and potato cutlets is very easy to make and you do not need a lot of ingredients to make them. Cutlets can be served as appetizers at kitty parties or for surprise guests as well. 


  • 5 slices white bread
  • 2 small potatoes boiled
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 1 green chili chopped
  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped
  • Salt as per taste
  • Oil to deep fry


  • Boil and peel the potatoes and mash them well
  • Now take the bread slices and crumb them and mix with the mashed potatoes, mix them well
  • Add chopped green chili, onions, coriander leaves and salt, mix everything all together very well
  • Now divide them into equal portions, and then make oval shaped patties to make cutlets, depending on the size that mix should make around 10 cutlets
  • Heat oil in a pan and deep fry them in medium high heat till golden brown
