Veg Spring Rolls
Veg spring rolls is the perfect recipe if you want to eat something with crispy and full of vegetables and has Chinese taste. Its a great starter/appetizers or if you are just having a craving for something tasty and easy to make recipe. You can add any vegetable you like in the filling as per your taste. It is a no fuss recipe if you have fridge full of different and colorful vegetables and spring roll sheets at your home. These spring roll sheets are easily available at grocery stores now a days. So go ahead and try the recipe and enjoy.
Ingredients
- Shredded cabbage – 2 cups
Shredded carrot - 1 cup - Spring onions – 1 cup
- Onion chopped – 1 medium size
- Green Capsicum chopped – 1 small size
Spring roll sheets - Soy sauce – 1 tsp.
- Black pepper powder – 1 tsp.
- Ginger-Garlic paste – 1 tbsp.
- Salt as per taste
- Oil for frying
Method
- Wash all the vegetables let them dry after that chop all the vegetables and set aside
- Now take a pan and put 2 tablespoon oil to make the filling
- When oil is hot add ginger-garlic paste, let fry for a few seconds
- Add onions and after 2 minutes add capsicum; fry them and then all the other vegetables, add salt mix them well
- Add soy sauce black pepper powder and mix well fry for few minutes and turn off the gas, your filling is ready
- To make the rolls place a spring roll sheet on the work surface. Add the vegetable stuffing in the center.
- Fold the bottom part of the sheet over the stuffing and then cover with the other two sides and bring it to the center, roll the pastry tightly to form a tube shape until you reach the top part of the sheet.
- Then to seal the ends take 1-2 tablespoon of all-purpose flour add 1 teaspoon water and make a paste it will work as glue
- Apply some glue at the end and again roll, now repeat the process and make rest of the rolls keep aside
- Heat oil in a pan on high and fry the rolls until they are golden brown on both sides.
- Serve it hot with tomato sauce
