Papdi Chaat
Papdi chaat is a very popular snack in India. As an integral part of chat items, it has a
sweet, sour and chili taste that is mouth-watering. Papdis are
prepared by all-purpose flour and it also needs the magic of spices to make it
good in taste.
Ingredients
- Papdi (salted cookies) – 12 to15 pieces
- Boiled potato – 2 big potato
- Tamarind-Date Chutney – 4 tbsp.
- Green chutney (prepared with coriander and mint leaves) – 1 tbsp.
- Dahi/Yoghurt – 1 cup
- Sev (noodles made from chickpea flour) – 1 cup
- Chopped Onion – 1
- Salt (to taste)
- Cumin seeds (jeera) powder – 1 tsp
- Red chili powder – 1 tsp
- Chaat masala (spice mix)
- Fresh coriander leaves to garnish
Method
- Take papdis and arrange them on a plate
- Now add potatoes and then yoghurt that they cover the papdis well
- Add different kind of chutnies and then sprinkle salt, chaat masala, cumin seed powder, chili powder over it (you can adjust spices according to your taste)
- Garnished with chopped onion, coriander leaves and sev
- Enjoy yummy papdi chaat
