Recipe- Bread Dhokla
Sandwiches is one widely used option which everyone uses in daily food as a quick alternative to anything. But there are many other items which you can make with bread. I am describing one such tasty and light recipe which you will like for sure. Bread Dhokla is a quick and easy snack recipe which everyone will love.
Ingredients
- 8-10 slices of bread
- 1 cup thick yoghurt (Curd/dahi)
- A pinch of turmeric and red chili powder
- Chopped green chilies
- Mustard seeds
- Cumin seeds
- Curry leaves
- Oil for frying
- Salt to taste
Method
- Take a bowl and mix the curd with pinch of salt and red chili powder, turmeric powder and cumin seeds
- Apply this mixture to one slice of bread and then cover it with other slice to make a sandwich
- Make some more like that
- Cut the edges of bread slices and cut them to quarters
- Heat the oil, and then add mustard seeds, curry leaves and green chillies in a frying pan
- Now add the sandwiches and fry on both sides till golden brown
- Serve hot with tomato sauce
