Recipe-Veg Burger


Veg Burger (Indian Style)


Burger is a quick food which can be a good choice to include in breakfast/ snack for your family specially kids. Kids love it. This is becoming a fast favorite for everybody nowadays. You can try this at home as well with my quick recipe for home made burger. The ingredients are easily available and preparation time is fast.

Ingredients

  • Burger Bun
  • 1 tomato sliced
  • Cheese Slices
  • Potato Patties (Aloo Tikkies)
  • Spinach Leaves
  • Green Coriander Chutney ( click here for green coriander chutney recipe)
  • Tomato Souse
  • Chaat Masala
  • Salt as Required

Method

  • Heat a pan and toast the burger bun with butter for few minutes to make burger crispy (this is optional if you want bun to be crispy)
  • Place the burger on a plate and spread green coriander chutney (see separate link for green chutney) on the one piece and tomato sauce on the other
  • Now place some sliced tomatoes and spinach leaves (you can also use lettuce) and then cheese slice on one piece and aloo tikkies on other one
  • Sprinkle some salt and chaat masala on the top of the aloo tikkies and place the one piece of burger on another.

Your burger is ready now, serve with extra tomato sauce.
