Recipe-Mango lassi

Mango Lassi

Mangoes are widely used in cuisine. Mango lassi is gaining popularity worldwide. It is widely available in restaurants and is liked as flavored yogurt in UK, Malaysia and Singapore, and in many other parts of the world. Mango lassi is a very tasty and refreshing drink prepared by mixing ripe mangoes or mango pulp with yoghurt and sugar. Yogurt/curd/Dahi is nutritionally rich in protein, calcium, riboflavin, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 and it has nutritional benefits beyond those of milk.


Ingredients


  • 1 Big Ripe Mango peeled and cubed        
  • 1 Cup Yoghurt/Curd/Dahi
  • ½ Cup Milk
  • Cardamom seeds (Elaichi)
  • 3-4 Tablespoon Sugar
  • Chopped Almonds for Garnishing


 



Method


  • Put all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth
  • Adjust the consistency as you want
  • If you like it chilled you can chill it in the fridge or add some ice cubes
  • Pour in glasses and decorate with some chopped almonds
  • Sprinkle a little cardamom

Mango lassi is ready to be served.
